I was born in Croatia, grew up in Melbourne and have been lucky enough to call Auckland, New Zealand my home since 1993. Croatia is a stunning country and is still very close to my heart.

I was transferred from Melbourne to Auckland as Restaurant Manager for the Regent Hotel, Auckland, now Stamford Plaza. Hospitality and serving people is in my blood and something I love to do, and this trait has continued throughout my career in looking after my clients for all their travel needs.

In 1996, I joined Flight Centre as a travel consultant. Wow what a great move this was! Within 6 months I became a team leader, opened new branches, became a mentor manager for new managers and I travelled the world. I also received numerous awards and was selected to attend many global balls throughout my 18-year career with Flight Centre.

Then in 2014, I established VIP Travel Ltd in association with YOU Travel Mairangi Bay and in 2019 I created SO Travel, my own brand, in association with New Zealand Travel Brokers. I decided that I did not want the fast pace of just ‘selling tickets’ to my clients any longer. I wanted to become a Personal Travel Manager selling dream holidays, not tickets! Since then, I have developed a very loyal base of clients that over the years have also become close friends. This has allowed me to get to know my clients likes and dislikes and prepare their holidays accordingly. They are so much more than just a sale to me.

I am a trained specialist in all things travel and have, in the last two years, received coveted awards in my profession. I make sure that I look at your holiday as a whole, to ensure that each piece of the puzzle meets your specific needs and that you are happy with every dollar you have spent. And the best part is that I do not charge a fee for my time, as the airlines and hotels pay me, not YOU!
