Travel is my passion and I have been working in the travel industry since 1985 – in retail and wholesale travel, as well as a few years working for Singapore Airlines. This has given me a broad knowledge of the industry as a whole, as well as lots of connections to draw on.

I love all aspects of travel and 2020 has brought about challenges like never before. However, with change comes opportunity, and this year has provided me with the chance to become a travel broker. I have two grown-up children who no longer live at home, so I’ve got plenty of time to arrange your travel. Working from a home-based office gives me the flexibility to come to you, or you can come to me. There is always a cup of coffee or tea on offer at my place.

I enjoy planning my client’s trips and treat them as if they were my own. One of the most rewarding parts for me is hearing how your trip went and, because I can’t go everywhere myself, I use the knowledge I gain from those post-trip conversations to help other clients as well.

Although the internet provides a lot of information, it is always good to have someone to coordinate all of your bookings at one central point with the bonus of offering the experience, knowledge and security that a travel professional can provide. Working in an ever-changing industry means that consistent and reliable information is a must. Knowing that I am only a phone call away offers peace of mind for my clients, should the need ever arise.
